I've been building websites since 2001, long enough to remember table layouts, Flash intros, and several browser wars. That history is useful because I know which trends are real upgrades and which are shiny loot with terrible stats.
The first site I ever built was my own, back when web design ran alongside a full-time career performing magic. In 2020 every show on my calendar vanished inside a week, so I went all in on the web work and it became Nerd Fire Studio. I spent 25 years getting a room full of people to pay attention on purpose. I handle most of every project myself. For the parts that call for a specialist, I have a bench of people I've worked with for years and I bring in whoever the job needs.
